Yes, it’s erotica… but very soft and humanI bought this book when I was bored with reading post-apocalyptic and space opera books. My expectations were low from my memories of other erotica I’ve read.This book hooked my attention from the first two chapters… I felt that the stories showed the emotional vulnerabilities of the characters, along with the true heat of passion and “yes” stories of finding that one special person in your life. I recommend this book if you want to delve into the characters’ minds while their bodies run wild on them.I think the author did an admirable job and I’ll certainly try her other works.

More than just a sexy read!I’d heard so many great things about this book so moved it up on my reading list. Glad I did. Yes, it’s erotica and VERY hot – but it’s more than that. Part of its appeal is that it’s not just one erotic vignette after another. We get to learn something about the women that frequent the “Club” and the woman whose dream it was to open it. Their stories are insightful and at times moving… and you learn just enough about them to whet your appetite for more. There’s also a wide variety of characters included here, so most readers will find something that appeals to them. I was surprised to learn that this was Brooks’ first novel because it seemed more polished than many firsts are. Brooks is a recent discovery for me and I’m enjoying making my way through her published work. Strong sexual content is not for everyone – but if it is, this is a deliciously spicy book to enjoy. There’s some very light BDSM included but it’s minimal. It certainly makes you curious about what visiting a club like that might be like (or maybe that’s just me.) The ending left the door open for a sequel and I hope that happens. I would certainly be up for round two!

Beautifully UniqueWell, for goodness sake—this book was an absolute adventure. I liked how each chapter changed from past to present. I liked Mandy’s story and how the club came to be. It was very interesting how all of the ladies had a connection in one way or another. Stephanie and Lou really were my favorites. Every personality was so well described even though they were all very different. Of course, all of them were at the club for one reason only. Oh, to be the proverbial fly on the wall! The big thing was the epilogue—it took me right back to the beginning. What???? Surely there has to be more to that story? Good thing there is a sequel to this one coming out very soon. Thank you to the author for this bit of spicy goodness. It was very heartwarming and wonderful.

So much can happen in the club but it can answer even more for your heart.This one hot, erotic kind of story. If you stop just for that you will miss so much more. I struggled to keep tract of the many women in the story and how the club was soothing place for each one. Mandy had a story that felt not finished but so amazing. Each character brought much to the look at how our sexuality effects so many aspects of our life. The characters I loved most were Lou and Stephanie both shy. One so unsure of how to accept who she is, the other unable to share but together they can be themselves. Yes there is a lot of no- attached, really amazing sex in these stories but it is so much more!

Nice and sexyThis is my first book by A.L. Brooks and I really like it.The Club, is a place were women are free to do as they wish ( within the rules of the place) and be anonymous .All the different women and the struggles that come through life an in the end they all need passion but don’t have time for commitment for different reasons.So yes..l very sexy stories , the green, blue and red room are hot .In the end, the important thing is, romance can be found in The Club and happy endings are always great.
